Born Vilnius, 11 March 1964

Ilia Kitup studied Russian linguistics at the Moscow University. From 1985 to 1990 he worked as an editor for the underground magazines The Anxious Parasite and Partisan. In 1993 he started his own publishing series: Kitup's own propellor comics both in English and Russian. In 1998 he moved to Berlin where he now lives and works.
