The Khlebnician

This magazine with numerous collage-like illustrations, published in a limited edition, is dedicated to the poetry of Velemir Khlebnikov. The editors were Wil Frenken and Peter Stobbe. Wil Frenken was born in Kleve in 1935 and studied architecture and painting in Krefeld at the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences and in Vienna at the Academy of Fine Arts. In 1980 he settled in Stuttgart. Peter Stobbe, born in Büdingen (G) in 1951, artist, writer, art theorist, has been the director of the Liechtstein Art School since 2008. Some issues of the Magazine contain reproductions (and translations) of original work, others are dedicated to artistic interpretations of Klebnikov's works. In all 7 issues were published of which the last issue was number as 7 and (inside) as 7/8.
