Died Moscow, 1991

Karlov studied 1921-1923 in Tashkent and after he lived in Semipalatinsk where he worked for several journals. Since 1950 he worked and lived in Moscow where he designed and illustrated children's' books for several publishing houses. He lived and worked in Moscow.
