This portfolio was preceded by an edition of 10 copies made by the artist himself in 1955. First edition 1957-59 in an edition of 600 followed by a reprint of 500 in 1961. The second edition of 125 copies was printed in 1963. The lithographs of both series were used as illustrations for 'Der behexte Schneider' Berlin, 1969
