In 1974 Ivaniuk graduated from the Sculpture Department of the Leningrad Serov Art School. Since he participated to more than 30 art exhibitions (municipal, provincial, regional, national and international). He works in aquatint, mezzotint, etching stroke, drawing, monotype, oil painting, etching. He calls his work "fantastic scenery."
