Issupoff studied from 1908 to 1913 at the Moscow College of Painting under Arkhipov and A.Vanetsov. He became a member of the Itinerants. After his mobilization in 1914 he lived in Turkestan an Uzbekistan. In 1921 he returned to Moscow. Because of tuberculosis he emigrated to Rome in 1925. In 1967 the artist’s wife donated over 300 paintings by Isupov, as per his will, to the Kirov (Viatka) Museum of Art .
