Moscow: AKhR, 1929-1930

Magazine of the Association of Revolutionary Artists (AkhR) was published in 15 issues. After the last issue the magazine was continued as Za proletarskii iskusstvo [For proletarian art]. The cover of issue 1-4 was designed by Boris Titov, 5-6 by A. Nemov and 7-20 by M.Raiskaya. This publication was trendsetting for the magazines of the next decade as it had critical and ideological essays about artists and art.
