Goudiachvili was educated 1910-1914 at the School for Painting and Sculpture in Tiflis under Shmerling. From 1919 to 1926 he lived in Paris and studied at the Academy Ranson. In 1926 he returned to Tbilisi and was 1926-1932 professor at the Academy of Art in Tbilisi. He made designs for the Paliashvili theatre in Tbilisi.
