Grosser studied at the end of the 19th century at the School for the promotion of the Arts under Bilibin. He also studied in Munich under Holloshy and at the Academie Ranson in Paris. In 1919 he lived and worked in Odessa . After 1919 he emigrated to Paris and worked as an illustrator for Povolozky.
