Born Moscow, 21 September 1939

Grobman had no formal artistic education. He earned his money working as a hospital nurse. At the end of the 1950s, he became involved in the unofficial art becoming friends with notable poets and artists. In 1965 he started illustrating journals. In 1971 he and his family emigrated to Israel. In 1975 he produced the first issue of his handwritten journal Leviafan. He lives and works in Tel-Aviv.
