Signed in Cyrillic: To our little Tatiana from uncle Boris. To the left in ink: Rio. At the right 1936. In the background is Rio de Janeiro's Christ Mountain depicted as seen from the bay of Niteroi. Tatiana was present when this work was made. She got it from her uncle as he could not finish it because of his stomach pains (as told by Tatiana de Goull, the niece of Grigorieff. Her mother was the sister of Grigoriev's wife.)
