Born Moscow, 18 June 1958

Yurii Gordon, son of the aircraft designer Moses Gordon (1919-2004), graduated 1987 from the Facyulty of artistic and technical design of print materials of the  Moscow Polypraphic Institute. He has worked as a type designer since 1976. He is one of the founders (1997) of the Letterhead studio specializing on original Cyrillic typefaces. Since 1981 he is engaged in book- and graphic design.
