Polina Slutskina (born as Pauline Landon in 1947) is a philologist, artist, poet, writer, and photographer who started publishing her works in the 1990s. She worked in Moscow as an English teacher but studied also Japanese language and culture. For the publication of this collection of her poetry, Goppe used the backside of an old Soviet poster to print on the verses in hand setting and adorned these with small square silk screen illustrations mounted next to the text. Copy with dedications to LS both by author and artist. References: 2016, Eindhoven VAM, nr. 110
