‘The romantic garden’ is a collection of verses by Mikhail Kudriavtsev (no data known). For this edition Goppe used a more classical style, both in his design for the cover and for the illustrations. The cover, a colour silkscreen print, is an almost symmetrical design both in colour and imagery elements. The realistic illustrations support the metric verses.
