For ‘My Russia’, a selection of poems by the famous poet Voznesenskii (1933-2010) Goppe designed the cover in the form of a Russian Church bell. Thus he underlines the poetry by Voznesenskii, whose work was all about sound. He was an innovating traditionalist, drawing heavily on native folklore.
