In 1917 Maurice Golubov emigrated with his family to the USA, where they settled in New York. Golubov studied at the New York National Academy of Design an started working as an illustrator. Later he mainly worked as a painter. As he never studied art in Russia, he cannot really be called a Russian artist.

1980
