Golovin studied 1881-1888 at the Moscow College of Painting and Sculpture under Makovskii, Polenov and Priashnikov and in 1889 in Paris. From 1902 he designed for the Imperial Theatre in St. Petersburg. From 1908 he worked with Meyerhold at the Marinskii en Aleksandrinskii theatres in Petrograd. |
