Gloutchenko studied attended his first drawing classes at the Yuzovka (Donets) commercial school. He was contained in a prisoners-of-war camp before able to flee to Berlin, where he studied at the Academy of Art. In 1925 Gloutchenko moved to Paris and started working as chief artist of the USSR trade industrial exhibitions. In 1936 he returned to the USSR and settled in Moscow and in 1944 in Kiev. |
