Died Moscow, 1988.

Gavrilov studied 1929-1932 at the Kharkov Art Institute under M. Shcheglov. In 1948 he moved to Moscow and worked as a graphic artist designing posters for the Moscow Zoo. He lived and worked in Moscow.
