Born Kutaisi (Georgia), 29 June 1936

Rezo (Revaz) Gabriadze studied at the Kataisi Paedagogical Institute before he went to Tiflis where he studied at the Georgian Film Academy. He started a puppet theatre in Tifles for which he wrote the plays and designed the marionettes.
