Fomina, daughter of the great architect Ivan Fomin, graduated from the Moscow Stroganov Institutute where she had studied monumental art en decorative painting under B. Iordanskii and V. Bordichenko. She mainly works in the field of mosaics. She is also involved in ceramics, painting and graphic arts. She lives and works in Moscow.
