Nikita Favorskii, son of the Vladimir Favorskii graduated 1938 from the Moscow Polygraphic Intsitute where he studied under his father and P. Pavlinov. His diploma works were a series of woodcuts for Pushkins tale The Captain's Daughter. The book (with the help of his father) was published in an English edition in 1954.
