Falileev studied at the Pensa Art School and at the
workshops of the Princess Tenisheva under Shcherbinovski. From 1903 till
1906 he studied at the Academy in St. Petersburg. He travelled to the
Crimea in 1906, in 1907 to Berlin, Paris, München and Vienna. In 1911
and 1912 he participated in exhibitions in Rome, Naples,
Florence, Paris and Capri. In 1918 he became head of the
graphic-departement of Proletkult and professor of art at the
Stroganov-school in Moscow. In 1920-1921 he was dean of the grafic
faculty Vkhutemas. He emigrated to Berlin in 1926
and moved on to Rome in 1938. |
