Facsimile of a manuscript. In 1933, when the art gallery Myrbor in Paris organized an exhibition of illuminated manuscripts, Alexandra Exter chose the poem Arere Marika by the Cuban writer Lydia Cabrera to work into a manuscript with illustrations in tropical colors. After the exhibition the manuscript stayed for 30 years in the closet of the writer. This is the first publication of the manuscript.
