Died Kharkov, 6 January 1968

Ermilov studied from 1905 to 1909 at the School of decorative Painting  in Kharkov and in 1910 and 1911 at the Kharkov Art School. In 1912 and 1913 he studied at the Moscow School of painting, Sculpture and Architecture along with Vladimir Maiakovskii and David Burliuk. He lived and worked in Kharkov where he became one of the prominent avant-garde artists.
