Дризо, Михаил Александрович (МАД)

Cartoonist.

Died Paris, 23 September 1953

MAD studied law at the University of Novorossiia. He started as a cartoonist with the journal Odesskie Novosti [Odessa News] and others. In 1919 he went via Istanbul to Berlin. In 1924 he settled in Paris and worked for the journal Illiustrirovannaia Rossiia [The Illustrated Russia]. He also designed children's books.
