| Ciurlionis studied piano and composition at Warsaw Conservatory from 1894 to 1899, and from 1904 to 1906 drawing at the Warsaw School of Fine Arts. In 1907 Ciurlionis was one of the founding mebers of the Lithuanian Union of Artists. He died of pneumonia ina psychiatric hospital in Pustelnik north of Warsaw. |
