Born Moscow, 16 March 1932

Chermushkin graduated in 1959 from the faculty of monumental and decorative painting of the Moscow Stroganov Institute. He designed monumental art works (painting, ceramics, mosaic, and relief) for large public buildings in many cities of Russia. He worked as a professor of graphic arts at the Moscow State Industrial Art University.
