Died Moscow, 19 June 1978

Bykhovskii studied from 1910 to 1912 at the Petersburg School for the Promotion of the Arts under N. Roerich. During the Revolution he worked in Gomel designing posters. In 1922 he moved to Moscow designing posters, theatrical art and costumes.  In the late 1940s he also started working as a sculptor.
