The sun pays a visit to Maiakovskii – the latter part of the title being an addition by Burliuk – had been published before, in 1923 with as a title The sun, and in an edition with illustrations by Larionov. The poem was also part of the anthology For the Voice. Burliuk’s illustrations for both poems reflect the transition from his Japanese to his American style | ||
