Булатов, Эрик Владимирович

Painter, graphic artist.

Born Sverdlovsk, 5 September 1933.

Bulatov studied 1947-1952 at the Moscow Art School and 1952-1958 at the Surikov Art Institute in Moscow under Falk and Favorskii. He had his first exhibition in 1965. Ilia Kabakov taught him the illustration of children's books. From 1958 till 1990 he illustrated children's book together with Oleg Vasilev. Bulatov lives and works in Paris
