In 1932, an exhibition of 40 paintings by the Brailovsky's depicting monuments of Russian religious art was held in Rome. As a result a special unit of Russian paintings of monuments of church art in Russia was installed in the Vatican Musea. The works reproduced on the postcards were in this exhibition
