Alekandre Bozherianov was the son of the historic Ivan N. Bozherianov. He studied at the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts and in 1906 and 1907 at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris. He lived in St. Petersburg as an illustrator and theatrical designer until 1922 when he emigrated. In 1925 he settled in Paris. He became engaged in the restoration of the paintings and was an expert consultant in the Louvre Museum. He worked for film and television, created costumes and was a member of the "Icon" society in Paris. He was buried at the local cemetery of Domme in the Dordogne.
