Andrei Bisti, the son of the well-known book illustrator Dmitrii Bisti graduated in 1970 from the Childen's School of Art. From 1970 to 1976 he studied at the Moscow Polygraphic Institute  under P. Zakharov and A. Goncharov. He works as a free lance illustrator for several Moscow publishers. He lives and works in Moscow.
