Born Leningrad 27 July 1934

Belomlinski studied 1954-1960 at the Leningrad Repin Institute. He worked as an illustrator and designer of children's books and children's magazines. In 1989 he emigrated to New York where he worked as the artistic director of the journal Novoe Russkoe Slovo. He is the illustrator of over 100 books
